2021 Winter Holiday Concert

Dear friends,

Voice of Bergen is happy to announce our 2021 Winter Holiday Concert presented by Tenafly Senior Center. The repertoire includes popular tunes for winter and Christmas, folk songs worldwide, and contemporary choral music. Please join us at Tenafly Senior Center, 20 S Summit St, Tenafly, NJ 07670, at 7:30 pm on December 16th.

Voice of Bergen is a chamber choir dedicated to enhancing the art of choral music. Our repertoire includes choral music from baroque to contemporary, arrangements from folk melodies worldwide, popular tunes from Broadway, etc.

Our music director and founder, Fred Nengbin Shih, has conducted performances in celebrated venues and music festivals through the United States, France, Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan. As a choirmaster and music director, Mr. Shih has served in the Grace Lutheran Church in Jamaica, New York, and the First Presbyterian Church in East Hanover, New Jersey. Mr. Shih has been the music director of Bogart Music School, Bogart Memorial Church, Tenafly Singers, New York Chinese Christian Choral Society, and the founder of Harold Children’s Choir.

博根之聲室內合唱團很榮幸地將於 Tenafly 老人中心舉辦 2021 年冬季假期音樂會。曲目包括冬季和聖誕節的流行曲調、世界各地的民歌和當代合唱音樂。請於 12 月 16 日晚上 7:30 在 Tenafly 老人中心加入我們，地址為 20 S Summit St, Tenafly, NJ 07670。

2019天納福來合唱團「豬朋狗友」農曆新年春節音樂會

慶逢農曆新年，天納福來合唱團舉辦演唱會。除了應景的中文歌曲「三美競秀」和「鳳陽歌舞」之外，還有其他中英名曲，與聽眾共度新春和情人節。

Join us for the Tenafly Singers Choir’s 2019 Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day Concert. The program includes selected chorus works in Chinese and English. All are welcome to the Mahwah Public Library on Feb. 2nd, and Englewood Public Library on Feb. 9th, 2019 to rejoice the year of prosperity, opportunity, and abundance!

2018天納福來合唱團「雞犬皆寧」新年暨情人節音樂會

慶逢農曆戊戌新年和紅色情人節，天納福來合唱團舉辦，送雞迎犬『雞犬皆寧』音樂會，由施能斌指揮。日期是2018年2月11日星期日2:00PM，地點在Fort Lee Public Library, 320 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ 07024，免費入場。

『雞犬皆寧』演唱會的中文曲目，有應景熱鬧的中文歌曲「三美競秀」和「鳳陽歌舞」，回味無窮的老歌『不了情』、『月亮代表我的心』，還有辛亥革命志士作曲家青主，以宋詞卜算子『我住長江頭』的詞譜成曲，傾訴如長江水般奔流，婉約、堅貞的愛情。

中文曲外，加上一首義大利文和三首英文歌曲。『Flower of Beauty』描述愛情修成正果的心路，情人節首選；還有，靈感來自莎士比亞•第十二夜的抒情詩，改寫譜成的『If Music be the Food of Love』，結合對音樂、對至愛，一語雙關的昇華，並囊括了，莎翁 • 遊吟詩人，其中一齣牧歌『Three Madrigals』的對話詩句。另有義大利文，拿布果（Nabucco）歌劇中，著名的合唱曲『Va’ pensiero, sull’ali dorate』（「飛吧！思想，乘著金色的翅膀！」）也是最膾炙人口的經典片段，與聽眾共度新春與情人節，歡迎大家來聆聽。

Chang-E is the moon goddess in the Chinese folklore. She is also the symbol of the Mid-Autumn Festival as well.

天納福來歌手中秋節音樂會「嫦娥之歌」

獨在異鄉為異客，每逢佳節倍思親。趁此佳節，天納福來歌手合唱團舉辦中秋節音樂會「嫦娥之歌」，曲目有懷念老歌「鄧麗君組曲」、「玫瑰玫瑰我愛你」、「春風吻上我的臉」，還有張雨生名曲「我期待」和「口是心非」，及多項金馬獎提名電影「心動」主題曲，經典英文歌曲有”Moon River”、”Heal The World”等，扣人心弦，將與聽眾共度中秋佳節。

成立屆十年的天納福來合唱團，由音樂博士施能斌擔任指揮與總監。每週四晚於Tenafly Senior Center練唱，歡迎愛好合唱朋友們加入。
